Community Alliance for the Ethical Treatment of Youth (CAFETY)

Heather holds multiple degrees in Mathematics, Physics, Biochemistry and Chemistry. She is active in educating the public about the residential program industry. Heather told her story in the CEDU documentary, Surviving
CEDU, filmed in 2008. She has actively been a member and supporter of CAFETY for over a year and is responsible for the creation of the California chapter, where she currently organizes community events. Heather is a proud mother of a teenaged son.
