Nick Wood - Disability Rights Center of Kansas

E-mail Print
Nick has spent the past several years working with Medicaid-funded behavioral health programs.  He started out his career working directly as a support to families in order to help children who were at risk for institutionalization to remain in home and community.  From there he worked to promote strengths-based community mental health services at the University of Kansas’ School of Social Welfare and the Kansas state office for mental health.  Nick lives with his wife Kathy in Topeka Kansas where they both enjoy being outside with their dogs, attending local events, and working to support community clubs and civic organizations.
