We are pleased to invite groups of survivors/alumni and their allies from around world to submit application to become official Chapters of CAFETY. Our chapter structures and supports are flexible and always being led by people like YOU—our members, supporters and allies who are committed to our mission of promoting and securing the human rights of youth in residential placement. Our chapters are made up of passionate, committed advocates who keep our work moving forward as part of the larger global movement for the rights of youth.
Here is the timeline for chapter establishment:
1. Groups submit Chapter Applications at any time they have met the requirements and believe they are ready to establish a chapter
2. The CAFETY Chapter Committee reviews the chapter application at their next regular meeting. These meetings happen within the first two weeks of even numbered months.
3. The CAFETY Chapter Committee determines whether they need more information and makes a recommendation to the CAFETY Board of Directors regarding the chapter application.
4. The CAFETY Board of Directors votes on the establishment of your chapter at their next regular meeting.
