Much like the United States, Canada seems to be moving in the direction of failing to ensure youth placement in residential care is appropriate and not dehumanizing or degrading.

  • This article discusses Youthdale, a privately funded programs which is also covered by Ontario Health Plan.
  • This article is about a Canadian boy who was almost sent to a program Utah, a state notorious for housing questionable programs.
  • Grenville Christian College, while now closed but is now facing a lawsuit from former students who claim they were "physically, emotionally and psychologically abused and harassed sexually by those who were responsible for their welfare."
  • Class Action agains the Sheila Morrison School - the law firm with whom CAFETY's chapter leader plans to work with.
